Round face This shape is round at the cheeks and a has a circular form. There is more of the face near the ears and gradually less curving upward and downward. The goal is to slim your face.

Jewellery

Necklaces You need a necklace that adds length to the face. Look for long necklaces, 28" to 32". Stay away from chokers or short necklaces as well as large stones or pearls.

Earrings Elongated styles will suit you best because they draw attention down instead of around. Go for drop earring in shapes that are also soft like a teardrop. Steer clear of hoops as well as tiny studs.

Tiaras To make your face appear longer, choose a tiara with some height or one that has a peak.

Make Up

Foundation A round face lacks dominant facial features and the principal objective is to give it a long and elongated shape. Use two different shades of foundation. Place the darker foundation at your temples, jaw line, fullness under your chin and your neck. Blend the lighter foundation under the eyes, on the nose, chin and forehead.

Blush Apply the blush f
rom temples to lip corners like triangle to make your face seem longer.

Eyes Line your eyes with a dark-coloured eyeliner for a wide, softly smudged look. Apply a deep shade of eye shadow to the outside section of your eye socket. Use a lighter shade of eye shadow underneath the eyebrow and towards the middle of the eye socket.

Lips Line your lips with a dark shade of lip liner and apply a matching lipstick. Apply a dab of gloss to the centre of your bottom lip.

Hair

Hair below the chin line should be worn with a face-lengthening centre part. For hair above chin line, wear an off-center part to interrupt the roundness. Height at the crown and a bare forehead will lengthen and slim your face. Avoid short and sleeked-back hairstyles.

Fashion

A deep plunging neckline can carry a beautiful necklace and is great for a round face. Avoid rounded, scoop necklines.
